This whole pork tenderloin cut (aka: pork fillet, pork tender) is the most tender cut of pork. The tenderloin is a long, thin muscle near the pig’s backbone. It’s boneless, very lean, and has a mild flavor. Will feed approximately two adults.
The refrigerator method is the safest way to thaw frozen meat. Pork tenderloin needs about 12 to 14 hours to completely thaw in the refrigerator (35-40 degrees F) before cooking. DO NOT thaw at room temperature. After thawed, it will keep for two to three days in the fridge. After three days, it should be stored it in the freezer, where it will keep for up to six months.
