The Wallace Family

The Wallace Family

Most of you know Nick Wallace as the “face” of Wallace Farms. But there are several other Wallace family members who help to keep our company operating on a daily basis. Below is our line-up of the family members who contribute to our success.

Nick Wallace

Nick Wallace

Nick Wallace is one of the founders of Wallace Farms and has become a true pioneer within the grass-fed beef and nutrient-dense food movements. Raised in a small Iowa community, Nick graduated from the University of Iowa before tackling a year of culinary training. He then started working with his father, Steve, and other family members on the Wallace Farms project.

Nick leads the company, with a primary focus on raising cattle and forage management. He is the driving force behind product procurement, new business development, customer service and strategic planning. He is constantly generating ideas for the next great product to bring to our customers. To view one of the latest, please check out the website for Nick’s Sticks.

Steve Wallace

Steve Wallace

Steve Wallace had the original vision for what Wallace Farms could become. Back in 2001, he began cobbling together many of the ideas that would form our core foundation. Steve’s life began on the farm, continued with a master’s degree in ruminant nutrition from Iowa State University, and unfolded into a 40+ year career in agribusiness.

He brings his lifetime of experience to the farm (and company) each and every day. We rely on him for quality control, strategic guidance, and the occasional stint as our truck driver!

Lisa Wallace

Lisa Wallace & Family

Lisa Wallace manages the Wallace Farms warehouse in Naperville, Illinois, with some part-time assistance from her 4 kids and husband, Jason (Nick’s brother). Lisa and Jason also collaborate with Nick on marketing projects and new business initiatives…including Nick’s Sticks, our foray into healthy, shelf-stable snack sticks.

Linda Wallace

Linda Wallace

Every good company needs a quality “bean counter” and Linda Wallace plays that role quite well. Until she “semi-retired” in 2009 to help handle the books at Wallace Farms, Linda spent her career as a media specialist in the Iowa Public School System, while raising her three children. She and Steve attended Iowa State University together.
